Canadian screen actress who became popular for her portrayal of Bo Dennis on Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure was her first role in 2019. Earthstorm as well as The Perfect Neighbor, The Perfect Neighbor and The Perfect Neighbor (2006) are among her other credits. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay an actress director producer, playwright and educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first memories are of seeing her mother work and attending play rehearsals. Silk made several commercials when she was young. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has staged two of its first plays, including Seven Menus. Samuel and Levi the sons of Seth Cooperman are given the names. In 2009 she landed the lead role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. CNN recognized her performance as Bo and Lauren as lovers of the same sexuality on Lost Girl one of their all-time favorite TV couples. E! declared them the top Television Couples of 2013.
