Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded that are mostly of the martial arts or horror types. Her style and method are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies and has a fascination with the morbid. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. The site was up and running through the beginning of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The videos are available here and here. Find Allison on Tumblr and Twitter and Instagram. Do you want to be as sexy as Allison? It's possible to see her kick her thighs as Interpol ninja Cheetah Lee from Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! She has also been a guest star on some episodes of his show Midnight Screenings. She reviews horrible films aimed at children, or RiffTrax shows as well as sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). She began reviewing films late in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked into the Reviewer community. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She was featured on numerous shows on Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of the family that Channel Awesome had together with Doug Walker.
