Gerina-Piller
Her birthplace was Roswell on March 29, 1985. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birthname. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican grandparents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Stevenson is Mexican as well as American. From a young age her drive to become involved in sports was evident. Gerina was a golfer when she was just the age of 15. Gerina graduated from high school through Goddard High School. As a high-school student, she had won the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. In addition, she was a volleyball player and competed on the level of state. At the age of 2003, she enrolled at the University of Texas. As a senior, she took home the top prize in every tournament she played in. During undergraduate studies she won the titles of Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the Year.
